As Americans, we should not only ask where it is, we should also question who the folks are. The country is poverty stricken and it is a country with many political problems, nevertheless the country currently stands like a democracy.
Bangladesh is a very young country, with a rich history. Once upon a period, Bangladesh did not exist, there was only a big region known as India. Beautiful India was full of people who spoke different languages, but also people with different faith systems. Due to religious turmoil, a war in 1947 created a distinction between India, and 2 new regions, West Pakistan and East Pakistan. The duration of turmoil was still being not cured, for the people of East Pakistan wanted the authority to use Bengali, their native language. After yet another war East Pakistan liberated itself from West Pakistan in 1971 and became Bangladesh.
Where is bangladesh now? Well, it became a democracy in 1991, the capital city is Dhaka, and it’s still a rustic full of richness and culture, although it has already established its fair share of famine and natural disasters. It is among the poorest countries of the world, and it holds one of the densest populations on the small amount of land.
Where is bangladesh when it comes to tourist attractions? Well, Bangladesh can boast one of the longest beaches on the planet, the infamous Cox’s Bazar. But the true tourist treasures are the ones small getaway locations like Foy’s Lake, ideal for an open-air picnic or boat ride. For those museum buffs, there are many museums filled with relics in the past; these museums are in the major cities like Dhaka and Chittagong. Adventurous tourists usually enjoy the archaeological sites around the country. Be certain to enter the country with an appetite, since the food is certain to amaze.
